program support activities:
Assessment for Organizational Project Excellence
Perform 1/2 to 2 days of documentation
analysis and interview staff from various levels of the project organization.
Write
an assessment report with recommended areas for enhancement.
Program Startup Support
Program Chartering.
Selecting
and appointing a Program Owner and a Program Manager.
Staffing
the initial program team.
Facilitating
a 2 to 3.5 day kickoff workshop for all stakeholders and team members.
Participants work together in teams of 3 to 4 people to organize a
project and lead a diverse virtual team of technical contributors
through a project lifecycle supported by a realistic computer simulation.
This engaging experience allows participants to benchmark their own
organization against a best practices organization that uses tools,
processes, and people to achieve project excellence.
Preliminary
Organizational Design Workshop (part 1 of 2)
Facilitate a 2 to 3 day workshop
for the Program Team to introduce
organizational strategies, structures, processes, and culture
to support project excellence.
Conceptual organizational design alternatives will be developed.
Final Organizational Design & Implementation Planning Workshop
(part 2 of 2)
Facilitate a 3 day workshop for the
Program Team to finalize the
organizational design and a program mangagement plan is developed.
Implementation Coaching Center consultants support the Organizational Project Excellence
Team at key milestones during the implementation.
